Privacy Policy

Effective October 22, 2026

This policy explains how Blessed Care Home, Inc. ("we") handles information on this website and in our private company care app, which is used only by our authorized employees to support the people who live in our homes.

Who Uses the App

The app is for internal use by employees of Blessed Care Home, Inc. and its related care homes. It is not offered to the public. Accounts are created only after approval by company leadership.

Information We Collect

  • Employee information: name, work email, position, assigned home, schedule, and a personal PIN used to sign entries.
  • Time records: clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, and a photo taken at the moment of each clock-in and clock-out on the home's shared iPad, used to confirm identity. We do not use face recognition.
  • Location: the home's shared iPad confirms it is at the home's address when a time punch is made. The app does not track employees' personal phones or their location during or after a shift.
  • Resident care records: medication records, daily notes, tracking data, and reports about the people we support. This is protected health information.

How We Protect Health Information

Resident care records are protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and California law. They are stored with service providers that have signed HIPAA Business Associate Agreements with us, encrypted in storage and in transit, and available only to employees whose job requires access. Every view and change is logged.

How We Use Information

We use information only to provide care, meet licensing and regional center requirements, manage schedules and payroll, and keep accurate records. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share information only as required to provide care or as required by law, such as with licensing agencies, the regional center, a resident's authorized representatives, or service providers working on our behalf under written agreements.

Retention

Records are kept for the periods required by California licensing rules and other applicable law, then securely deleted.

Your Choices

Employees may ask to review or correct their own information by contacting us. Residents and their authorized representatives may request access to care records as allowed by law.
